Salt was set by Matthew Wheelock in 2001to help progressive companies grow and generate more business.

Originally focused on traditional marketing (hence the website address) it soon became apparent that the most common challenge our clients' faced related not to marketing but to sales.

In 2003, Salt formulated its business development methodology built on our three stage Research > Develop > Implement process that delivers on companies' three most common objectives:

To generate more business from existing customers
To generate more new business
Improve sales performance

This process identifies the problems, challenges and opportunities, gathers the facts, and creates the buy in and focus to successfully realise growth potential. 

Salt now works with a variety of businesses from established market leaders to start-ups and growing businesses.

Typically focusing on companies in the IT sector with turnover of £3m plus we also work with companies and organisations in the private, public and charity sectors to create, develop and enhance sales.

Today, Salt is increasingly targeting larger companies some of whom have a turnover in excess of £1.5bn.
